These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website mannersmowing.com.au and the provision of lawn mowing, garden maintenance, and related services ("Services") by Manners Mowing & Maintenance ("we", "us", "our"), operating on the Gold Coast, South Brisbane and surrounding areas in Queensland, Australia. By using our website or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Quotes provided via our website, phone, or email are estimates based on the information you provide and are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing or in person following a site assessment where required. Prices may be adjusted if the actual condition of your property differs materially from what was described (for example, overgrown lawns, hidden debris, or restricted access).
Bookings are confirmed once a date and scope of work have been agreed between you and us. We aim to attend at the scheduled time but appointment windows are estimates and may shift due to weather, prior jobs running over, or circumstances beyond our control.
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the areas where work is to be performed, including unlocking gates, restraining pets, and clearing the work area of toys, hoses, furniture, and other obstacles prior to our arrival. We are not responsible for delays or additional charges caused by restricted access on the day of service.
Please notify us in advance of any known hazards on your property (for example, uneven ground, irrigation systems, exposed wiring, or fragile garden features) so we can take appropriate care.
We understand that plans change. Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, ideally at least 24 hours in advance, so we can offer the time slot to another client. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee or a requirement for prepayment on future bookings.
If severe weather or unsafe conditions prevent us from completing a scheduled service, we will contact you to reschedule at no additional cost.
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking or on your invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the service or within the timeframe stated on your invoice. We reserve the right to charge a late payment fee or suspend future services for overdue accounts.
We take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality lawn and garden care. If you're not satisfied with a completed service, please contact us within 48 hours so we can discuss the issue and, where reasonable, arrange for it to be corrected at no extra charge.
While we take all reasonable care when performing our Services, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage to items, irrigation systems, underground cabling, or garden features that were not disclosed to us prior to the commencement of work. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our Services is limited to the cost of re-performing the affected service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
